How To Make Old Country Buffet Meatloaf Recipe

Classic meatloaf recipe just like what you would find at Old Country Buffet restaurants.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, and egg. Mix until well combined.

  3. Stir in chopped onion and green pepper.

  4. Transfer the mixture to a 9×5 inch loaf pan, pressing down gently to fill the pan.

  5. In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Spread evenly on top of the meatloaf.

  6. Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes or until fully cooked through.

  7. Let the meatloaf cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
